Spicy Texas Two Step Toast

One thing I can say about “Texas Two Step” on Hallmark channel is that there were some SPICY dance movies! Heather Hemmens and Brenden Penny had some serious chemistry both on and off the dance floor in this movie! I made the perfect snack to go with this movie, so you can feel free to re-watch it and enjoy the spice at all angles!

Ingredients:

-Thick cut “Texas toast” white bread

-unsalted butter (softened)

-jarred minced garlic in oil

-crispy garlic chili flakes in oil

-shredded pepper jack cheese

-Italian parsley

Directions:

Start by placing the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Spread softened butter onto each slice.

Follow with a small dollop of minced garlic and spread around.

Add a generous amount of cheese to entire top. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned.

Take out of oven and spread crispy garlic chili flakes on top of each slice, followed by a sprinkle of chopped parsley. Enjoy!
