Deep Dish Pizza Dip
This recipe is a touchdown!! In honor of Countdown to Christmas on Hallmark Channel and one of their first holiday movies of the season, “Holiday Touchdown: A Bear’s Love Story”, I am making an epic deep dish pizza dip! I am extra excited for this movie because I got to be in it! It was the most amazing experience! Hope you have a watch party for this movie and celebrate with this dip!

For bottom layer:
-4 cups ricotta
-2 cups shredded mozzarella
-1 egg
-2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp pepper
-1 tsp red pepper flakes
-2 tsp sugar
-1 tps salt
For top layer:
-2 28 oz cans crushed tomato
-2 14 oz cans diced tomatos, drained
-1 tablespoon tomato paste
-3 tablespoons olive oil
-2 tsp sugar
-1/2 tsp pepper
-2 tsp salt
-2 tsp oregano
-2 tsp basil
For Assembly-
-2 more cups shredded mozzarella
-1 package smoked provolone
-1 tablespoon melted butter
-drizzle olive oil
Directions:
Start by mixing all of the bottom ingredients together. Baste some olive oil on the bottom and sides of your chosen baking dish first. Then spread ricotta mixture on the bottom.
Add a layer of smoked provolone, followed by a layer of 2 more cups of shredded mozzarella.
In another bowl, mix all ingredients together for tomato topping. Spread that on top evenly.
Drizzle with melted butter and olive oil. Bake at 375 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.
While it cools a bit, bake your frozen garlic bread sticks and get ready to dip! Enjoy!
